Monday Inspiration: Ballet flats

Ballet flats

I’ve always been obsessed with ballet flats. But I feel like they have been given a bad reputation over the years and are now seen as being a bit basic. But I always tend to invest in classic pieces and for me, ballet flats are exactly that and definitely not plain, so my closest is full of them!  I therefore decided to do my Monday Inspiration post with them as the main dish . These stunners (here) are from Office and are perfect to make any outfit look instantly chicer. I paired them with some simple blue jeans (here) and a striped-shirt (here), slightly see-through to give a glimpse of the lace bra (here). I’ve always loved striped-shirts even though some think they look a bit like pajamas. But that’s why they work so well with ballet flats and delicate jewellery such as these earrings (here), to make the whole outfit look put together and sophisticated !

I love ballet flats too! Can’t wait for Spring so that I can wear them again!

    • Same ! I attempted to wear them once in January and it was definitely not one of my best ideas! Thanks for stopping by ! Xx :)

  2. This is such a cute outfit, I love that bralet! I actually love ballet flats but I always worry that they make my feet look weird and I’m never sure how to wear them so I’ve tended to avoid them!

I agree! They are classic, and much better for the health of your feet over too high heels. It’s important though that they’re not too flat. Love this inspo look!
