February is the month of the year I like the least. It’s so cold outside and there’s nothing to look forward to (except maybe doing my monthly wishlist).
I’ve been absolutely obsessed with turquoise for as long as I can remember! Therefore, it’s not really surprising that I fell head over heels in love with these Stella & Dot earrings (here).
I had heard a lot of great things about this perfume (here) but the closest I came to smelling it before this weekend was when, in one of my “Confessions of a shopaholic” moments, I decided to rub a magazine against my neck in a vain attempt to smell like a Valentino muse (aka Astrid Bergès-Frisbey). But I went on a slightly crazed window-shopping spree this weekend and, having not bought anything, tried to console myself by smelling every single perfume on display with the hope of finally finding my very own “signature scent”, which is something every women seams to desperately search for! And if I had enough self-control as to only ever buy one perfume for the rest of my life, this one would probably be it!
One thing to know about me is that I love denim skirts. Actually, I love denim in general but who doesn’t? This skirt from New Look (here) would be perfect over a pair of (very thick) tights until April, and on it’s own after that!
One can’t write a February wishlist without including a coat! This one from Jaeger (here) is perfect to appease my current obsession with all things beige. And the collar is perfect for protection against the cold wind!
I found these Tory Burch boots (here) in a desperate attempt to give my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots a well-deserved break. I have been wearing them every day since winter began (so basically since September) and so it was about time I found another pair to obsess over.
My love affair with bags only grows stronger by the day. And who can blame me when I keep finding stunning items such as this one (here).
I strongly believe that nail polish, like earrings or a bag, is a must-have accessory to spice up any outfit. But busy bees don’t always have time to perfectly apply a bright red nail varnish that takes hours to dry and even then, could easily smudge. In these circumstances, the best thing to do to look well-groomed is to apply a nude color like this Chanel one (here).
I started with turquoise and I’m going to end with turquoise. I told you I was obsessed! But how could I not include this gorgeous Loren Stewart ring (here) into my selection?
